EXT. THE ORDER NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT

The Order's home is an elegant three-story estate, completely enclosed by fifteen feet of wrought-iron fence. Surveillance CAMERAS perch on stone pillars, recording everything. A band of PAPARAZZI linger outside the fence, beyond which sits prime Hollywood Boulevard real estate.

WIDER ON THE ROOM

The study's large WOODEN DOOR opens. The room is dark, revealing only highlights of its elegance. Dark wood bookcases. Tasteful modern art on the walls.

ROBERT, late 30's, perfectly coiffed, a typical L.A. actor, enters deferentially. He's dressed in a purple robe marked by that distinctive "O."

ROBERT
Prefect Duvane --

PREFECT PATRICK DUVANE, mid-40's, looks up from behind the computer monitor. He too is Hollywood handsome and fit. He wears the burgeoning silver in his hair comfortably.

DUVANE
Yes, Robert?
