As of last week, Los Angeles mayor-elect Eric Garcetti is protected by an LAPD detail and driven around the city in a dark Chevy Suburban. The novelty had not yet worn off for the media when Garcetti visited with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at Getty House on May 23, 2013.
