Spotted this weekend in Palm Springs: a star honoring the late photographer Julius Shulman, whose images helped elevate public admiration of mid-century modern homes and style. The Shulman tribute on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars is outside 300 S. Palm Canyon Drive. In 2008, Rizzoli published "Julius Shulman: Palm Springs" by Alan Hess and Michael Stern.
Shulman died in 2009 at age 98.
