Based on the average price in the L.A. area of $4.016 a gallon, we're paying about $4 less for a 15-gallon fill up than we were a month ago. It's a start, although keep in mind that less than 18 months ago we were paying $2.968. That's a difference of nearly $20 per 15-gallon fill up. (EIA)
