Curbed National says that 22-year-old Petra Ecclestone might only be a front for the real buyer of the Holmby Hills property, an anonymous billionaire who apparently is worth more than Ecclestone. The short post further suggests that Petra's Dad, British billionaire and Formula One racing boss Bernie Ecclestone, is somehow involved in the sleight-of-hand (he's the chap on the left). Actually, it wouldn't be surprising for this story to take a few unexpected turns, considering that no one has yet gone on the record to confirm that a sale has taken place. (Notice all the question marks at the end of headlines.) I, for one, am still hoping that Petra (she's the blonde on the right) winds up with the estate, if only for the obvious entertainment value.
