Cable and cool? Well, kinda. The company we all love to hate has come up with a free download that allows customers to watch live TV on their iPad - as long as they're at home and have TW's Internet service. Just 30 channels are available so far and no broadcast network programming, although I'd imagine that the offerings will grow if the service proves popular. Also seems like a good way of generating more Internet business and holding off competitors like Hulu and Netflix, which are already streaming movies and TV shows onto the iPad. (LAT)
