The place had been slated for closure, but there was such a huge outcry that the Motion Picture and Television Fund worked out a deal with Providence Health & Services that will keep the facility open. The MPTF also announced that it will expand healthcare services on the Wasserman Campus in Woodland Hills. (The Wrap)
