Busiest days are likely to be this Saturday and Sunday, Friday the 24th and Sunday, Jan. 2. All told, passenger volume at LAX is expected to increase 1.3 percent over last year (surprisingly low given all the talk about more folks traveling this season). Airlines are reporting passenger loads approaching 95 percent, which means that most planes will be full. LAWA press release outlines the usual advisories.
