The trouble with all those California-is-dying narratives is that, well, they're just not true. Small example: Gov. Rick Perry claims that 153 California businesses moved to Texas in the first eight months of the year. What Perry doesn't say is that 92 Texas businesses moved to California during that same period, according to Dun & Bradstreet (via Capitol Alert). That makes a net gain of 61.
