When one of the engines on a Qantas A380 blew up soon after takeoff, one of the passengers said "my whole body went to jelly." The super-jumbo did manage to land safely in Singapore, but Qantas and Singapore Airlines moved to suspend all flights of the A380 until the airlines can figure out what happened. Five carriers have the plane: Qantas, Singapore and Lufthansa, Air France and Emirates, though the last two use a different engine than the one involved in today's incident.
