L.A.'s eccentric pop-up restaurant will be taking over the space at 13355 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, just east of the 405. This past summer, LudoBites, which is run by Krissy Lefebvre and her husband, Ludo Lefebvre, was located in downtown's garment district, drawing huge crowds. Other locations have been in West Hollywood and Culver City. From the NYT:
For LudoBites 6.0, Mr. Lefebvre said, he has been working on new dishes: a foie-gras panna cotta, with turnips, radish and miso gelée, for instance. Additionally, Mr. Lefebvre said, the menu will offer crisp snails with garlic, parsley, papaya and green-mango relish; a savory kimchi cheesecake; seared Wagyu with Japanese whiskey and pickle vegetables; and a dessert course of pancake soufflé, with maple syrup ice cream and salted-butter Chantilly cream. LudoBites 6.0 will also serve alcohol, Mrs. Lefebvre said, the first time it has been able to do so.
Reserve early. The restaurant will be open for dinner weekdays from Oct. 20 until Nov. 11, and from Nov. 30 until Dec. 5.
