Nothing like a Lakers-Celtics matchup to make the network bosses happy. Last night's opener pulled a 10.4 national rating, up 17 percent from 2009's Lakers-Magic series, but still way below the classic finals from the 80s. Of course, viewing habits have changed a lot since the 80s - more choices, more ways of viewing. The game drew 43 percent of the L.A. households watching TV at the time.
