The Dow gained another 102 points and is now at a 17-month high of 10,888. It's risen 10 of the last 12 sessions. Caterpillar, which is often a bellwether of economic activity, was up 4 percent. But there's nothing all that different about the recent batch of economic reports - just the belief among enough investors that it's better to be a buyer than a seller.
