The Trojans have a loyal core of fans that will go to the games no matter what, but if the team does goes south, there's bound to be some fallout at the bottom line. That means all sports at the school could suffer because much of the football money goes towards bankrolling the other teams. Last year the USC football program had revenues of $35.2 million and overall profits of $14 million. About those revenues: They sound like a lot, but not next to many other college teams. Compare USC's $35 million with Texas, which had almost $88 million in revenue from football. After that comes Ohio State at $68 million and then Florida at $66 million. USC ranks 21st.
