It's none other than Edmund Andrews, who covers the Federal Reserve and wrote a book about his own financial problems that centered on a mortgage he could not afford to pay. Here was an expert in economics who got caught in the lending squeeze - perfect. But as you might recall there was a lot of devil in the details. Namely, his wife had twice declared bankruptcy, once during her marriage to Andrews. Anyway, he's apparently one of the 50 or so newsroom staff members who will be taking the paper's buyout (you could imagine the chattering going on about him). Other biz folks on the list according to Gawker:

--Geraldine Fabrikant
--Alex Berenson
