WSJ is posting that GE and Comcast are ready to announce the big deal for NBC Universal on Thursday. Comcast winds up with a majority stake. It comes after France's Vivendi agreed to sell its 20 percent stake in NBC Universal to GE for $5.8 billion. Of course, there's no telling how long it might take to pass regulatory muster - or what Comcast might be required to give up.
