Rivers bashes Leno

Asked at the television critics gathering what she thought of the new Leno talk show at 10 p.m., Rivers said it was a brilliant move.

"America can get bored more easily and go to sleep earlier," she said. "When was the last time you heard, 'Did you hear what Leno said last night?' It will be nice for the Midwest because their crops will be greener."

Rivers, of course, used to guest host the "Tonight Show" before Leno. She is now promoting her new TV Land show "How'd You Get So Rich?" (from James Hibberd at THR)
