The weekly television trade magazine, which began its life in 1982 as Electronic Media, will become online only in June - with a significant reduction in staff. Included in those cuts is Editor Greg Baumann. The magazine's NewsPro supplement will continue as a monthly stand-alone print publication, starting in August. The L.A.-based publication has been hit by the usual advertising troubles, though its situation is compounded by a huge consolidation in the syndication and TV station business. Those had been major advertisers. (TV Week, Variety)
