The Dow will finish the day on the losing side - about 35 points near the close (around 6727). Today's session speaks volumes about the unwillingness of investors to take advantage of any buying opportunities after a big slide. There was more bad news today - February car sales were awful - but the current market climate goes well beyond an individual set of numbers. We're not even at the "show me" stage, where there's at least an openness to consider the possibility of a turnaround. When you're ensconced behind a rock, there's not much opportunity to be shown anything.
