Rosenberg loses in court

A three-judge appeals court turned down the request by SAG President Alan Rosenberg for an expedited ruling on last week's lower court denial of a temporary restraining order (got all that?). Bottom line: Rosenberg is challenging the SAG board's firing of executive director Doug Allen. The expedited ruling was a long shot, but with the union and the group representing the studios and networks ready to resume talking Tuesday morning - without Allen - Rosenberg and his supporters probably figured it was worth the chance.
