The Times headquarters complex, better known as Times Mirror Square, was supposed to have helped generate income for Tribune Co. But with real estate prices going nowhere but down the company is shelving those plans. Tribune is in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings – not the best time to be shopping for buyers. Also being taken off the market is Chicago's Tribune Tower. Brokerage firm Cushman & Wakefield is still looking to find tenants for some of the empty space at Times Mirror. Government offices are probably the best bet. (Crain's Chicago Business)
