At last check, the guild's national board was still meeting - and presumably still debating whether to fire executive director Doug Allen. Last night a few news outlets had reported that Allen had gotten the boot - based on comments by one of the board members - but that's been denied by the SAG people. The moderates on the national board, who hold a slight majority, apparently introduced a resolution that would replace SAG's negotiating committee, stop the authorization vote and remove Allen.
