Just in time for the Friday before Christmas is a winter storm that's disrupting air service out of the Northeast and Midwest. A check of LAX flight information (the Web site is easy to use) shows a bunch of arrival delays for American, United and the other big carriers. Departures seem to be doing better. Newark reported 374 cancellations, O'Hare 250 - it's a real mess.
