Hooray for the videogame folks – at least they have customers. U.S. sales of software totaled just under $700 million in October - up 35 percent from a year earlier, according to NPD Group. Analysts had been expecting sales growth of between 20 percent and 25 percent. Among the local players, THQ's "Saints Row 2" sold about 270,000 units for the Xbox 360. But missing from the top sellers was Activision Blizzard's latest version of "Guitar Hero." (DJ)
