Lyon in serious condition

That would be homebuilder William Lyon, the 85-year-old chairman and CEO of William Lyons Homes. As reported by the OC Register, Lyon was speaking at a charity luncheon on Friday when his knees buckled and he fell to the floor. He was in serious condition this morning at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. Lyon is one of OC's wealthiest residents and a big donor to Republican causes. Most recently there’s been chatter about Lyon and other OC big shots wanting to push former eBay CEO Meg Whitman as a candidate for governor.
