The online prediction market gives Obama a 66.2 percent chance of winning the election - and a 60.1 percent chance that the 66.2 percent number will increase after tonight's VP debate (I wouldn't bet on that one). Also, traders say there's an 89.8 percent chance that the rescue package will pass Congress, despite growing doubts about tomorrow's House vote. As a rule, the Intrade numbers become more reliable as Election Day nears, but don't be surprised if McCain starts gaining in the next week or two. That would seem to be the pattern of the campaign. Here's the Intrade link.
