Just when you think advertisers have run out of space to advertise, somebody comes along with an idea that’s stunningly intrusive and, well, just plain dumb. An outfit called Ad-Air figures that instead of looking at boring runways, arriving and departing passengers might just as well be hit with super-sized pitches the length of three football fields. The London-based company will introduce the first ads in Dubai next month, and then move to London's Heathrow, Chicago's O'Hare, Tokyo's Narita, and LAX. Maybe. No one has yet mentioned the idea to the folks at LAX, and you can probably anticipate just a smidge of opposition. Lots of online comments to the Daily Breeze story, including one that starts off "This is a joke, right?"
