Change on the Lakers beat at LA Times

After 12 years on the Lakers beat and 22 years with the Los Angeles Times sports staff, Mike Bresnahan has taken his leave of the paper. He is now billing himself on Twitter as an on-air Lakers analyst for Times Warner Cable Sportsnet. Bresnahan has seemed to be doing more broadcast work in recent years.

tania-ganguli-320.jpgHis replacement on the Lakers beat for the LA Times is Tania Ganguli, hired from ESPN.com, where she has covered the NFL’s Houston Texans for the last three seasons. She previously covered the Texans for the Houston Chronicle and also has covered the Orlando Magic in the NBA. Ganguli is a Northwestern grad out of Arcadia High School.
