KPFK goes off the air, blames a power line

kpfklogo.jpgPacifica station KPFK says on Twitter that it is off the air this morning due to a power line being "down" and the transmitter possibly being affected by the wind. We'll take them at their word for now. But as you probably know, the station and all of Pacifica are in deep internal turmoil over finances and leadership. And KPFK, at FM 90.7, has in its colorful past lost power the old fashioned way: for not paying the bill. Stay tuned.
