LA Times discovers its inner Obamajam

Just when the Obamajam trope has gotten so tired and parochial sounding after five years I barely use it anymore — the traffic impacts have been largely managed by authorities and overstated by us media and bloggers — the LA Times has decided to go whole hog this time. Three stories leading the top of the newspaper's website right now (see above.) Then you get to the real news.

Not to say there isn't some presidential traffic disruption out there. Obama flew by copter to Burbank Airport (oops, sorry: Bob Hopeā€¦) this afternoon, so that's good. But then he gummed up the 5, 170 and 101 freeways with a rush-hour motorcade to the Jimmy Kimmel studio in Hollywood. The area around Hollywood and Highland is never good at 6 p.m. on a weekday, and I can just imagine the mess there now. But still. A half-mile away, no one even knows Obama is =there.
