Curbed LA took a look at the draft environmental impact report for the conversion of the 1939-era May Co. department store at Wilshire and Fairfax into a museum for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. And there are plans to add a large Oscar statue where the iconic perfume bottle design towers over the intersection. More photos and analysis at Curbed.
