Mapping the dogs of LA: Chihuahuas named Bella still rule

KCRW journalists gathered up as much available public data as they could get on the breeds and names of dogs in Los Angeles County — it's surprisingly difficult to get, by the way — and found that Max and Bella are the most popular names. Chihuahuas and labs remain the top breeds. The data released by cities and agencies is imperfect, but still interesting. Full story.
