John Lennon taped a promotional spot for the Tower Records store on Sunset Strip in 1974, reportedly while in studio at KHJ radio. The clip surfaced in a post at Dangerous Minds on the history of Tower Records and in particular the Sunset Strip store, a focal point of local record culture for three decades-plus.
