These are the rainfall totals for the 48 hours leading up to 10 p.m. tonight measured by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works at spots around the county. Pretty modest most places. The "flooding" reports filling the media are really a lot of clogged storm drains and the usual downed trees, wash rescues, small rock and mudslides and pavement sinkholes that come with rain in Southern California — plus a few actual serious incidents.
Heavy surf with the storm is doing some damage along the coast. The video below is of a wave crashing through the window of a restaurant on Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara.
