We're starting to see Orange County Register owner Aaron Kushner reach out in Los Angeles in advance of launching his new LA newspaper. Couple of days ago I told you about his March 10 Zocalo panel at the Petersen Museum. Next week Kushner will be speaking at USC Annenberg along with Donna Wares, who is the editor of the forthcoming Los Angeles Register, and OC Register Opinion Editor Brian Calle. Kushner is billed as coming to discuss "his vision for the future of daily newspapers and their vital role in local civic life." It's a noon forum in the USC Annenberg building.
