Musician Exene Cervenka is putting clothing, instruments, vintage jewelry, vinyl records and other personal items up for bidding in an estate sale that begins Thursday. "She is downsizing and plans on relocating soon," says the sale website. "This is a multi family sale but the vast majority of the items are from Exene's life long antique and vintage collection. Exene is alive and well and excited about recycling her treasures."

Because of "overwhelming demand to shop our sale and extensive press coverage," Thursday's opening day has been switched to entrance by appointment only. The sale continues through the weekend. "If you are coming to the sale for guitars we will have a bid box for each of the guitars owned/ played by Exene," the organizers say. "Highest bidder at 4pm Sun FEB 16th will pay for the guitar by 6 pm with cash or credit card."
