"Good Day LA" entertainment anchor Julie Chang was back on the show this morning for the first time since her November surgery for a benign brain tumor. Chang explained last fall that she was lucky — the tumor was discovered when she sought a brain scan after a surfing accident. She tried surfing shortly after moving here from New York. "To put it simply, California saved my life," she said today in the on-air reunion with host Steve Edwards and the rest of the morning team on Fox 11.
