Lindsey Jacobellis won the X Games competition in snowboardcross on Friday and will be on the U.S. team in Sochi next month. She has won eight gold medals at the X Games in her career — the most of any female athlete — and has been the world champion of her sport three times. Now at 28 and recovered from a torn ACL and meniscus, she gets a third chance to win at the Olympics. American Nate Holland won the X Games medal on the male side. The Olympic team for US Snowboarding is due to be announced on Saturday.
