The longtime SoCal sportswriter and columnist (and talk radio host) Doug Krikorian, laid off by the Press-Telegram in 2011, has shown up in the pages of the Long Beach Register, the OC Register's start-up move into the P-T's turf. He writes Sunday about health problems plaguing Vic Cegles, the Long Beach State athletic director. If you've got him, you may as well flaunt him: Register editors put Krikorian's mug up in the banner teasers.
