A quick update to the story of the Doheny Glatt Kosher Meat Market, which has been accused of selling meat that isn't as kosher as advertised. The Jewish Journal now says that Shlomo Rechnitz, a prominent local businessman and philanthropist, has purchased the market. He was urged to purchase the market by rabbis in the Rabbinical Council of California, the group that took away the market's certification.More in the Jewish Journal.
