'60 Minutes' does the Brian Banks story

brian-banks-cbs.jpgThere was a strong lineup of watchable pieces tonight on "60 Minutes." The opener was an interview from Russia with one of the women in Pussy Riot, and the closer featured Anderson Cooper diving with Nile crocodiles in Africa and presenting some surprising underwater video footage. In between, correspondent James Brown talked with Brian Banks, the former Long Beach high school football player who served several years in prison for a sexual assault he did not commit and was exonerated last year after taping his accuser's admission that she lied. Brown tried out last year with several NFL teams with no success, and former USC coach Pete Carroll talks about Banks in the piece.
