Video: Mass dolphin run off Dana Point

It seems as if there's a video-worthy dolphin, whale or orca encounter off the Southern California every week or so now. The whale-watch boats certainly know to bring the cameras and hope to get a clip that goes viral — the perfect marketing tool. The latest video from our coast is pretty impressive: perhaps as many as 1,000 common dolphin racing around a boat from Captain Dave's Dolphin and Whale Safari in Dana Point. The boat operator calls it a "stampede" but doesn't say just when the dolphins were seen. Enjoy.
