New aging milestone for Al Martinez: the 'heart attack'

Just a mild heart attack, the Daily News columnist reports on Facebook.

I began feeling angina pains Monday evening. It's not the first time so I decided to wait and see. They didn't go away this time so after 3 hours of pain and low dosage aspirins I reluctantly agreed to be taken to West Hills Hosp. A few tests determined it to be a heart attack and an angiogram the next day verified that and revealed a 40% blockage in one artery. That isn't enough to require a stent or a reaming so I'm being treated with drugs. No muscle damage, hence the term mild. Feeling week and pissed off and in need of a nice cool martini, but it's only 8:30 a.m. and I never drink before 11 a.m. Just kidding. Hold the olives.
