Press Club scores Robert Redford

When the Los Angeles Press Club gives its first Visionary Award to Jane Fonda in November, she will be introduced by Robert Redford. The pair starred together in "The Chase," "Barefoot in the Park" and "The Electric Horseman." A couple of years Fonda wrote about a dream she had about Redford. The award will be presented during the National Entertainment Journalism Awards on Sunday, November 18th at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

The Visionary Award was created "to pay homage to an individual within the Entertainment Industry who uses their high-profile status to make the world a better place and to spread information about issues of freedom and social importance.” After receiving the award, Fonda will sit down for an on-stage interview with NBC 4 news anchor Robert Kovacik.
