Observing Los Angeles

Central Library makes a 'most beautiful' list

Flavorwire has posted another of its 25 most beautiful lists — and they do aggregate some gorgeous photos and noteworthy locations. This time it's the 25 most beautiful public libraries in the world. The Central Library of the Los Angeles Public Library makes the cut, which is probably less of a surprise than Flavorwire putting Downtown's The Last Bookstore on its previous list of stunning bookstores.

You already know what the Central Library looks like. Thankfully. Here are a couple of other beauts, from Alexandria (upper) and Mexico City. And right now, I'm really happy to have the new wider format.
