The Hollywood awards season is fully upon us (alas), and tonight's pre-Oscars warmup act was the Critics' Choice Awards from the Broadcast Film Critics Association. Best picture went to "The Artist." George Clooney and Viola Davis grabbed the best actor wins, Octavia Spencer and Christopher Plummer the supporting actor wins.
