Tonight at the Alamodome in San Antonio, UCLA's women's volleyball team beat Illinois to win the NCAA national championship. It's the fourth time the volleyball women have a won a national title — their first in twenty years — and the 108th overall NCAA national championship won by UCLA athletes. That is an NCAA record. Both the former UCLA football coach Rick Neuheisel and his successor, Jim Mora, tweeted their congratulations soon after the match. Neuheisel got there first.
