Sunday was media day at the Lakers training camp in El Segundo. Asked what he thought of the Lamar Odom trade within the division (to Dallas) for just a draft pick, Kobe Bryant said "I don't like it." He didn't criticize Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak, however, saying "I trust management knows what they're doing. I'll let them do their jobs and I'll never get in the way of it, but it's tough." Turns out that Odom requested a trade after Friday's trade for Chris Paul was rejected by the league, ESPN reports. And now Paul reportedly wants to be traded to the Lakers, Knicks or Clippers.
* Sunday night update: The Clippers are in the closing stages of a trade for Paul, says the LAT's Broderick Turner. The Clippers would give up center Chris Kaman, guard Eric Bledsoe, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and the No. 1 draft pick to New Orleans.
