Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra first violin Julie Gigante, oboist Allan Vogel and the rest have decorated the view on the northbound Harbor Freeway since 1991, at least when the eucalyptus branches have let everyone see them. The mural on canvas panels is Kent Twitchell's largest. He will be there to be introduced (along with Gigante and Vogel) at the orchestra's performance on Saturday at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. The orchestra also performs Sunday at UCLA's Royce Hall. Backstory: LACO, LAT, Gigante on 'Off-Ramp'
