Dan Walters surrenders to the Twitter

Twitter is so made for journalists it's ridiculous, but some still don't know it. Dan Walters, the venerable political presence in Sacramento, is the latest holdout to fall. "After much arm-twisting by Sacramento Bee poohbahs I'm finally tweeting, or whatever it's called. We'll see how it works," his first tweet says. Follow Walters @WaltersBee.

Now if we can just get certain reporters to stop tweeting so much.

Walters' second tweet: "I'm amazed how fast this Twitter thing metastesizes, like some sort of fleash eating virus."
